There are many uses for paracord. On the Camino, you may use it primarily for drying clothes. When the albergue‘s clotheslines or drying racks are full, a length of paracord assures a place for drying your belongings. Often pensions or hostels do not offer laundry service or a place to wash clothes; you can wash a few articles in the shower or sink, and then hang it to dry.
Other uses for paracord include:
- Fix a backpack
- Tie things to the backpack
- Tourniquet
- Arm sling
- Shoelace
- Belt
- Sewing and mending
